Hello! I’m Leonid Levitchi, a Senior IT professional based in Berlin, Germany, with over two decades of experience in managing server infrastructures and data center operations across multiple platforms. My expertise in IT infrastructure has enabled me to effectively plan, install, configure, and optimize IT resources to achieve consistent high availability and performance.

My specialties lie in three key areas: IT Systems Engineering, Cloud Engineering, and IT Management. I have been able to leverage these skills in various roles throughout my career, most recently as a Senior Software Engineer at Zalando, and a Senior System/Cloud Engineer at FREENOW & SHARENOW.

In these roles, I have demonstrated an ability to plan, design, and administer several key aspects of IT infrastructure, such as Windows & Linux Servers Administration, MS/Active Directory, and VMware vSphere. I am also proficient in Infrastructure as Code with tools like Docker, K8s, Git, Terraform, Vault, Consul, and PowerShell Automation.

Previously, I worked at Allied Testing for over a decade, where I started as a Senior System & Security Engineer and then moved on to be a Senior Principal Engineer/ Team Leader. During my tenure, I led a team of system/network engineers and developers, implemented Agile and SCRUM best practices, and secured corporate servers & services.
